Martha King Stihl Campion

Pennsylvania native Martha King is a three-time National Champion and multi-title World Champion Lumberjill. Following in her father’s footsteps, she picked up her first racing axe at The Pennsylvania State University and instantly felt she had found her niche. Martha’s competitive nature drives her to perfect her craft in a traditionally male dominated sport. Since she began her lumberjacking journey, Martha King has set several national and world records in both sawing and chopping disciplines. With her platform, Martha strives to inspire young girls and women to realize they don’t have to fit the mold in order to dominate an industry. With discipline, dedication, hard work, and a positive attitude, anything is possible!

STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® 2023 U.S. Women’s Championship – Champion

STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® International Women Cup 2022 – Champion

“It was the hoped-for spectacular start to a long TIMBERSPORTS® weekend at Vienna’s Rathausplatz (Austria). Martha King of the USA secured victory and made history as the International Women Cup 2022, the first women’s competition with an international field. The 32-year-old won two of three disciplines with the single buck and the underhand chop, giving her competitors no chance.” – Christopher Borghorst
